Community-Based Conservation Seminar Series: Daniel Kemmis, Jan. 25
The Forest, Rangeland, and Watershed Stewardship Spring 2006 Seminar theme is "Community-Based Conservation: Finding the Nexus Between Research and Practice."
The seminar will feature researchers and practitioners in community-based conservation reflecting on a variety of perspectives. The seminar meets every Wednesday, noon-1 p.m. in Engineering B101 on the Colorado State University campus.
Our kick-off speaker Wednesday, Jan. 25, is Dan Kemmis of the Center for the Rocky Mountain West and author of "Community and the politics of place" (1990, Univ. of Oklahoma Press) and "This sovereign land: a new vision for governing the West" (2001, Island Press).
