Statewide Roundtables
In March delegates from all of Montana's seven major commercial regions met in Missoula to discuss how they might better coordinate and compliment their respective community and economic development efforts and join together to solve common problems. A statewide meeting was held in Helena on January 11, 2005, at the Great Northern Hotel. Leaders from around the state met in the morning and outlined MOM's action items. They were then joined by legislative members for a luncheon, presentation of an issues paper by Larry Swanson, remarks by Gov. Brian Schweitzer, and comments from selected members of the audience. A summary of Montana on the Move's accomplishments was made available to those in attendance.
